Most Wanted Paper
Earn Extra Money While Making Your Community Safer

In 2007 Kansas City’s Most Wanted Newspaper was created. The paper is sold at nearly 100 convenience and liquor stores throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. The eight-page publication features mugshots of 70 to 80 local fugitives and sells for $1.
The $1 charge is needed to cover costs for creating and distributing the paper. Twenty-five cents from each issue sold goes to the store with the remaining seventy-five cents paying production and distribution costs. Any excess funds go toward the Crime Stoppers 474-TIPS Hotline reward fund.
Kansas City's Most Wanted Newspaper is a way of putting the names and faces of numerous fugitives before the public eye and provides a first-time comprehensive list of the area’s most-wanted fugitives. Future plans include expanding distribution locations to 200 stores and including crime prevention and personal safety articles in each issue.
