Wes Binder Homicide
December 07, 2009

On December 7, 2009 Wesley B. Binder was found near his home at 60th Terrace and Hunter in Raytown, Missouri.  Family and friends have contributed an additional $3,500.00 to the reward fund bringing the total possible reward up to $4,500.00 for information leading to an arrest in the case.



Edward Falke Homicide (Hit and Run)
October 10, 2009

  On 10/10/2009, Edward Falke was struck and killed by an unknown vehicle in the 300 block of SW 15th Street in Oak Grove, Missouri.

  While TIPS on the incident have been received additional information is still needed to help solve the case.  A current reward of up to $20,025.00 is available for information leading to an arrest in the case.

CARLETON TEMPLE HOMICIDE
August 09, 2009

STATUS: OPEN

  This year marked the 10th anniversary of the homicide of Carleton Temple.  Crime Stoppers and the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department continue to solicit TIPS in the case and up to an $34,000 dollar reward has been posted for information leading to an arrest.

  The homicide occurred in the 6600 block of Monroe at approximately 4:30AM on August 9, 2009.  Carleton was found shot to death in the driver`s seat of a white Cadillac with the engine still running as the vehicle rested against a parked vehicle.

  Mr. Temple was a friend, brother and father and the family has continued to work for justice in the case.

Jose Moreno Homicide
May 25, 2008

On May 25th of 2008 an off duty Kansas City, Kansas police officer was working at the Brass Ring at 57th and State when a patron began causing a disturbance.  The officer escorted the man outside where he entered his truck.  The truck was a red 1990’s Ford F150 similar to the one shown in the photo.  As the man drove from the parking lot he fired several shots at the officer.  All of those shots missed but one struck a bar patron, 30 year-old Jose Moreno, who died from his wound.  The officer and witnesses described the suspect as a Hispanic male, 24-29 years old, 5’6” to 5’9” and 150 to 160 lbs.  He had tattoos on both forearms of unknown words in “Old English” type script.  Police developed a sketch from the witness descriptions.  Witnesses said the suspect had also been seen around the Oasis and Barcelona bars in KCMO.  Call Crime Stoppers if you think you know who he is.

Jeff Rogers Homicide
April 09, 2008

STATUS: SOLVED

Kansas City, MO --- The family of Kansas City, Kansas murder victim Jeff Rogers have added $4,000 to the reward for information leading to an arrest in his killing.  Additionally, the State of Kansas has posted a $5,000 reward in the case making the total possible reward $9,000.

Just after midnight on April 9, 2008 Jeff Rogers, 25, called 9-1-1 from his home in the 8400 block of Tauromee in Kansas City, Kansas to report he had been shot and stabbed.  When officers arrived they found him suffering from several gunshot and knife wounds.  He was able to tell police that four or five white males had broken into his home then beat, shot and stabbed him.  He died a short time later at a hospital.  

Anyone with information on this murder is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 816-474-TIPS.  All calls are handled anonymously and the reward will be paid in cash to any tip leading to an arrest.

Tammy Cochran (Hopper) Homicide
March 05, 2008

On March 5th, 2008 at approximately 10:30 a.m., the body of Tammy K. Cochran (Hopper), WF, was discovered near the Cedar Creek boat ramp located at 8255 S. Gardner Road.  The victim’s body had been burned.  The victim has been reported to be in multiple cities throughout the Kansas City Metropolitan area.  The victim was last seen wearing a light green shirt, black shoes, blue jeans with some type of design on the back pockets and a dark blue or black jacket with a fuzzy collar.  Anyone with information is encouraged to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).  A reward of up to $18,000 is available for information leading to an arrest.

Marco Lugo Homicide
August 12, 2007

On August 12th, 2007, just before 3:00 in the morning, Kansas City police were called to 18th and Baltimore on a report of a shooting.  When they arrived they found 19 year-old Marco M. Lugo in the back seat of a white GMC Yukon suffering from a gunshot wound.  He was transported to a hospital where he died shortly after arriving.  Other occupants of the car in which the victim had been riding told police that as they were driving away from a nightclub suspects in a blue Ford Taurus began shooting into the Yukon for no apparent reason.  The suspect vehicle was said to have a gray roof where the paint had peeled off.

On May 14, 2008 the victim`s family added $7,500 to the reward for information leading to an arrest in the case, making a total possible reward of  $8,500.  The victim`s parents will speak to media.  The father, Martin Lugo, can be reached at 913-575-7860 and his mother, Virginia Lugo can be reached at 913-579-2814.

Victorino Perez Homicide
July 04, 2007

On the night of July 4th, at about 8:30, Kansas City police, fire and EMT units were called to Scarritt and N. Wheeling on an injury accident.  The victim, 34 year-old Victorino V. Perez, was found lying in the grass near the passenger side of his truck.  The truck was parked facing west on Scarritt, east of Wheeling.  While tending to the victim paramedics found that he had been shot and stabbed.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.  What had been dispatched as an accident was now a murder scene.

Witnesses were located that had observed the victim arguing with four Hispanic men who left in two different vehicles after shooting and stabbing the victim.

The victim`s wife, Maria Perez, contacted the TIPS Hotline for help in solving the case and in her words, "Catching the four cowards who did this."



Donald Bell Fatality Hit and Run
July 03, 2007

On July 3rd, 2007, just after midnight, 37 year-old Donald Bell was struck and killed by a car while he was walking along Interstate 435 near Truman Road in Kansas City.  The car that struck him, described as an unknown type gray four door, fled the scene.  It should have heavy damage around the front of the vehicle.  A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information leading to an arrest.
